Geena davis is an American actress who was a movie star for over 50 years. Thelma & Louise Beetlejuice actress as well as Mensa performer, who has played in the roles of Stuart Little, Thelma & Louise Beetlejuice. The actress received an Golden Globe Award for her performance as Dottie Hinson in A League of Their Own as well as for her performance in the character Muriel Pritchett in the 1988 drama The Accidental Tourist, which earned her An Academy Award for Best Supporting actor. She played a role in the American horror-comedy Beetlejuice and was produced and directed by Tim Burton. Virginia Elizabeth Geena Davis was born on January 21, 1955. She is an American actor and activist. Davis received many accolades both in film and in television. She was noted for her portrayal of authentic strong women as well as her support to support women in the field. In the early years, she was able to develop passion for music. As a teenager, she learned to play flute, the piano and organ. She had the opportunity to play the organ in her Congregationalist Church of Wareham. Davis was a student at Wareham High School, and she stayed for a year living in Sweden as an exchange. Then she became fluent in Swedish. After attending New England College, Davis obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Drama from Boston University. Davis was a window-mannequin at Ann Taylor after completing her education. As a child she dreamed of becoming a professional player of soccer. However, in 2002 when she was in her final year of high school, she sprained her ankle. Following her recovery from the injury, she went on to play as a striker within Pleasant Hill California at Diablo Valley College where she earned an associate's diploma in Art. She won Junior College All-American awards and later transferred to Arizona State University. Unfortunately she was self-conscious and decided to give up soccer. After this she transferred to California State University Fullerton and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in business management, with a specialization in human resources. After her studies she moved back to Los Angeles to pursue a profession in modeling acting as well as promotions. While looking for a new job and came across the casting call for W.W.E. The talent scouts were enthralled by her and she received a four-week audition period. Then she relocated to Orlando Florida to begin her training at the company's Performance Center. In May 2013, she was a part of"Total Divas" W.W.E show, a reality T.V. show. Then she dyed her hair red and adopted her ring's name Eva Marie. W.W.E. was not without its trials. She left the W.W.E. anymore.
